Announcement

AKI announces that the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office delivered a witness summons to the AKI Inspector General, Mr. Burim Ramadani.   

 

In the summons it is stated that Mr. Ramadani is ordered to appear as a witness to be questioned by the SPO on a scheduled date, and in the summons he has been asked “to provide details regarding to his physical geographical location during the time of the war, and to provide documentation including photographs and other records from the period 1 January 1998 to 31 December 2000”.    

  

Mr. Ramadani is fully aware of the legal obligation to respond in such cases, and believes that this is a technical mistake and as such will be clarified further.
